LaNorris Sellers announces return as South Carolina quarterback for 2026 season
COLUMBIA — South Carolina football starting quarterback LaNorris Sellers is officially returning for the 2026 season. Sellers posted a video on social media Dec. 22 saying he would return for the 2026 season. The 6-foot-3, 240-pound quarterback had a breakout year in 2024 that helped coach Shane Beamer to a career-best 9-3 record but this year, the Gamecocks went 4-8, the worst for Beamer, and Sellers' numbers declined.
